There are many other restaurants and take aways in the area, but these are our favourites, where we also like to go ourselves. At Kasernenplatz, the autumn fair
"Herbschtmäss" also offers bratwurst, crepes, roasted almonds, racellette and many other take-away foods.
If you visit Basel for the first time, stroll along the Rhine, take the ferry in front of the big cathedral (Munster) and take a ride with the big wheel for the best view of the city from above.
